A Dream from God

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.” Acts 2:17

As I continue to age, I have often wished I would see visions, but my God has made it clear that dreams are the conduit through which He will visit me. (This is the second God given dream I’ve had over the years.) And so, having passed 70 years several years ago, I am content to accept what my Lord grants me. Now, not expecting to be one to receive prophetic dreams as there are so many others more worthy, I wish to share with you one I had just one day ago on November 7, 2025.

After spending a very sleepless night I was just about to give up on getting any sleep at all when I fell asleep around 5:30 in the morning. The dream went as follows.

I was riding on a bus going home. From where I was coming from I have no Idea. There were other people on the bus that I paid little attention to because everyone was minding their own business whatever that was. After a few minutes of riding I looked out of the window on the left side of the bus and saw a beautiful lake. It had such beauty that i wished I knew where it was so that I could visit it sometime. As I was pondering the lake I slowly became aware that as the lake receded, a river was visible on that side of the bus. The river was quite large and disturbed with waves lapping against the sides of the bus. Things where about to get wilder!

I looked out of the right side of the bus and saw the river there also. The waves were getting angrier with crashing waves everywhere. It’s then that I noticed the bus was driving through the waves and wondered how the driver knew where the road was to drive on it. The water was getting deeper and deeper yet the driver still drove on as if there was nothing hindering the bus. I wondered what would happen if the bus hit a boulder or downed tree? We would all be in the water which looked cold and uninviting. Then another disturbing thought entered my mind.

I remembered (I don’t know how I could remember something I had no memory of) but I remembered the river was full of snakes. I did not want to face that! Now, watching out the window of the bus I noticed trees and bushes along the side of the invisible road. Devoid of leaves, they looked sinister. Then I see sitting on the branches of a bush two devil fish, they looked like large ugly crows with very large sharp teeth in their beaks. I saw that they were standing on the branch and each had two legs like the legs of a man.

At this point I woke up.

What does all of this mean?

I was determined to find out! I felt like Daniel interpreting my own dream.

The first sentence says: “I was riding on a bus going home” In this small section is the greatest statement of the whole dream. “I was going home.” 2 Corinthians 5:1 reads” For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”

The beautiful lake represents my youth when God was in schools, government buildings, in people’s lives. People had a strong moral standing with Jesus on the throne of their lives. Homosexuality was kept in the closet and there was no such thing as woke. No transsexuals, you were what God created you as etc., etc..

Revelation 17:15 says that water means people. “So these river waters are the people of today, rioting demonstrating, looting, destroying. “And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.”

As the river waters get higher and angrier with waves crashing, This is what is coming. “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?” I see the world in a rage, wars and rumors of wars are upon us with the world divided. The fighting will be intense.

The last paragraph is the telling one. Snakes? Satan is described as the serpent, the liar and the deceiver. He gives power to the anti-christ to take peace from the earth along with his false prophet. I see the devil fish with sharp teeth and standing on two legs as the anti-christ and false prophet about to be revealed to the world. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3 we read “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”

Now, who was driving the bus? It was no other then our Lord Jesus Christ. No matter how angry the river became he was protecting us. Although through the coming wars, rioting and destruction our Lord will take care of His own. Amen
